Puppy Page-Upcoming litters & our policies Important note: We produce quality pups for pet & show homes. We love to place our babies into show homes, but please contact us if you are looking for a great pet puppy for a nice loving home. A loving home is of the utmost importance to us. We screen all homes before placement of our babies. We selectively breed very few pups per year. On the average 5-15 pups are produced in a year by us. Some of our dogs are co-owned and live in states other than New York. We offer national placement with home approval. We offer pick up and drop off for clients who prefer to fly in via private plane to our small local airport. We have a rescue femaile available in need of a good loving home. The wonderful people who select our puppies, help support our rescue efforts. We also have an adult female available. We do not ask for a fee for our rescues and some of or adults. If they have not been spayed, they will need to be. We require a vet reference and home approval. They have large exercise areas and clean facilities. Our adults are potty trained, house dogs and family oriented. They are all lovingly cared for by our family. When the economy tanked even more unscrupulous people started breeding bad quality stock in terrible conditions. Keep in mind the "breeder" will not tell you about the conditions, if it is a puppy mill. Puppy mills are horrible places. Dogs spend their lives in small cages with no exercise and filthy conditions. Please do not support the conditions these dogs endure, by purchasing a puppy from them. The laws are set up so that authorities can not do very much to protect them. Only by stopping the purchase of puppies from them, can their income be stiffled and thus they will shut down. This boy has a lovely temperament. He is sweet, outgoing, can stand his ground and loves the kids. He "sings" with certain songs and even gets an occasional "time-out" with the daycare kids when they get too rambuncious. He just winks & makes faces. He is one of the kids all timeFAVORITE dogs-adults too. He is spectacular in movement, structure, temperament, bone, pigment and EVERYTHING! He has extreme rear and carries it nicely. We love ESCADA, his mom. She is a large powerful girl with a calm temperament and easy trainablility-which she passed to Gubby. We spent time & had quit a few expenses to get a puppy from her. We where so lucky and amazed to have such a wonderful pup, as he was the only puppy in his litter. We are proud of him! He potty trained easily and is a joy to work and play with. His sister Tassie is featured in the sugar and spice section. She also was an only pup in her litter. *Scada retired to be a "sister" with the nuns at a Monastery here in NY state. They loved and protected one another. Scada passed over to the great hunting ground in the sky when she was about 13 yrs old. We thank the sisters so much for the loving home they have gave to our girl. Chloe resides with them now.

Tassie is smart, full of life and fun to be around. Her mom 'Scada produced Gubby & Tassie for us after much time and effort. Thanks so much to the wonderful family who offered him this chance to be the KING OF HIS OWN CASTLE!! Keya has retired to Rochester. Keya does not pull on the leash when walking. She loves to splash in a baby pool in the summer to cool off, a bucket is fine if you don't have a baby pool. She is crate trained and just enjoys life. Keya is pictured above with Roberts Spookanne. Her thrills in life are playing with Gub and her mom. She adores the kids and loves to be with the family. I kept her because I just fell in love with her charm and spunk. She works well on a leash. It only took her about an hour and she was doing great! Her favorite game is playing hide and seek with a peach pit. Her other great joy is going to the park with the kids, running through the tunnels and going down the "baby" slide. You can see the German in her in the younger pictures on bottom right and left. Tasha 7 yrs old OFA It is with sadness that I say, My Sweet Tasha passed on at 14 years old. She ran around, jumped and played with the pups like a young girl until almost the end. She is Line bred on Stuttgart's Sundance Kid ROMC/Rio Valles Nestles Crunch ROM. Sttugart's Rooney of Andrel-grandsire. Zues of Fran Jo-grgrgrandsire. Temperament personifies what is desireable in a GSD. Absolutely a wonderful watch dog and LOVED the children. She would sacrifice herself for ANY child in my day care. She put herself between the children and ANY vehicle or person she did not know. Her movement was a thing of beauty. She appeared to float with the grace of flight. She is bred on working lines. Her understanding of the human language was almost erie. She could understand without being told what was desired of her. Absolutely a wonderful companion! She is the grandmother of Berry Sweet. WHAT A GIRL TASHA WAS! We feel sadness and joy when our babies go to their new families. We screen their new homes, so we know they will be well taken care of. Families keep in touch and tell us how the pups are doing. Are you being swayed into purchasing a puppy by a cute picture or puppy breath? Please read below for help in making a smart decision. German Shepherds vary greatly in temperament. We breed for a calm confident dog. Dogs in the show ring not only have to be beautiful, they must have correct temperament to be handled by judges and others. Their gate needs to be strong and correct. Their attitude must be confident and correct for a German Shepherd. Angulation does not mean hip problems. Hip problems most often occur when a breeder is not responsible in his/her breeding ethics, not due to if the dog is angulated or non-angulated. Square or angulated dogs can move correctly, but in a general tone, angulation can produce more and stronger drive through the rear of the dog. Please check the BREED STANDARD on the AKC website. The link is below. Look at the bottom of the page. Read the section on "GAIT" and it explains the movement we are refering to. The breeder SHOULD know the genetic history and breed only good stock. The breeder should be aware of genetic problems that occur in the German Shepherd and do their best to screen out any suspect stock. Problems occur when a person just breeds one dog to another without any concept of genetics, backgrounds of the dogs being bred, genetic problems in the breed, structural problems and/or temperament problems. DOGS SHOULD ONLY BE BRED TO IMPROVE THE BREED-NEVER TO JUST PRODUCE A LITTER!
